I just bought a 1985 Peterborough with the above outboard on it. I'm trying to do some research on it, but the only tag I see is a serial number that states:0G144441. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

To be honest not really sure i just bought my first merc last fall haven't even had it in the water yet had to replace the TT motor and the starter and some fuse's but got a real good deal on the boat package so i can't complain keep the LU oil clean and keep it greassed and maybe use some carb cleaner in you first tank of gas
