currently looking at a friend's boat [he is offering it for 1k, a steal i thought]. its a 1977 23' bayliner cuddy cabin. he doesn't know the model and I didnt see the model name or number on the hull or the inside.

i have owned two other boats before this one but none of it was over 16 fts.

any thoughts on this or the ID of this boat?

the engine would probably be replaced if I do buy it.

what should I look for in buying this boat?

thanks

Socalboataddict

It wouldn't be much of a steal if it needs the engine replaced...Is that an indication of how the boat was taken care of???? who knows...
