HELP keel cracked

previous owner welded the boat and it cracked looking for ideas on how to repair.I figure I would ask the pro's thank you very much

Yikes! Makes you wonder how it got damaged in the first place.

I would assume there is some metal fatigue in that spot from whatever cause the problem in the first place.

Obviously welding it didn't do much good in the long term. You'll probably need to find a shop that can weld that aluminum and get it repaired professionally if you want something that is going to hold up and give you peace of mind.

when I bought the boat the trailer was NOT set up right this was my first boat so I learned what to look for.

All of the weight of the boat should be resting on the bunks. Very little weight should be resting on the front roller. From the pictures, it looks like the front roller was holding to much weight. Take another pic of the bow stop/winch. Make sure that the winch is not pulling the bow down.
