help locating part

I'm in need of a new throttle cable. The one that throttle remote control to the engine. the end on the engine is sliding when it souldn't be. The one on there has a number that i am unable to cross reference. "MORSE P63732-000 144.0" could you guys point me in the direction to find the proper one. It for a 17ft 1997 mercruiser 3.0lx Alpha One Gen II.

Ayuh,.... You need a 12' cable that fits a Mercruiser.... You'll probably end up with a Tele-flex cable...
