Original cable reads "OMC M-10 196 8H 14FT" - I found this potential replacement "0176114 CABLE AY-M10-SD" on another site but I can't locate the correct one on iboats. My original looks like the photo attached

Anyone know which part number I need?
Thanks!

That's not Volvo style. That's OMC

Sorry - I meant to say that my original cable that I pulled out of the boat had OMC printed on it - that's what I need right even though my outdrive is a Volvo? Its a chris craft boat built in 99 which might explain the OMC cable?

What's your full engine model number or serial number. It may not be a 99 engine/drive.

Chris Craft must have had some OMC controls left over.

Re: Help locating replacement shift cable

Sounds like it- the attached picture in the first post looks identical to mine so I'm assuming it will work. All the cables I've seen on iboats have the same terminating end (at the outdrive) but they are all different at the control end. I suppose I have a OMC control as well.... At any rate, the control end in the photo looks like mine so I guess I'll give it a shot unless you have another suggestion?

thanks Don
