Not long after I got my boat the starter on this motor went POOF. Burned the brushes up. I didn't buy another yet because I wasnt sure about the condition of the motor. Just used a rope to start it. Motor seems ok. The key worked for awhile to shut the motor off but now it wont kill it. I have read on here that the yellow and black wire is is the kill wire but there is no wire of that color on my motor. The boat originally had a force motor on it but other owner changed it to the mariner. The wire harness was cut near the back and spliced together. Almost all the wires are labled. The power tilt and trim wires are not hooked to anything as the mariner does not have that option. On the ignition I have....

B-Red wire to the battery.
M-white wire to were harness is cut and is taped off not hooked to anything.
I- 2 purple wires 1 goes to the motor turns to white to terminal box and has power
when key is turned on. other goes to the gauges.
M- Black wire to the buzzer, other wire from buzzer not hooked to anything.
S- Yellow wire to the starter selenoid. turnes to brown on the motor.
C- Green wire for push to choke turns to blue on the motor.

So how do I get the motor to shut off with the key again, or can I put a remote kill switch in, and if so how would I wire that in. Thanks in advance for the help.
