Hello,
I just bought a new to me pontoon but the wiring is a mess. I've been researching and planning on how I want to rewire my electronics. I have three batteries for trolling motor, house and starter. The trolling battery is separate which I take out to charge from time to time and is only use it for trolling. Currently, the pontoon holds an old fish finder, radio, 2 front spot lights, under water lights, deck lights, navi light and horn.

I am planning to get rid of the radio, under water lights and deck lights. I am only keeping or installing must have items to reduce battery drainage. Can someone review my diagram and tell me if I planned my wiring correctly? I am a mechanical guy, not so much an electrical but I'm not afraid to learn.

I am planning to connect the electronics to the house battery and keep the starter battery dedicated to the outboard motor.

If you're planning on having a separate batt switch for the house circuit and a separate batt switch for the motor, then I would say the diagram is correct.
The only comment I would make is to add a fuse/circuit breaker on the line between the switch and the fuse block. The fuse block protects all the gadgets, but you need to protect the feed to the fuse block. A 40 amp breaker would me more than enough... I say that because I have a 40 amp breaker and I have more loads.

Thanks for looking at this. Appreciate your inputs.
