Help me with the brand of a boat from my youth. Older Fiberglass Cruiser

Hi all, I am trying to remember a brand name for a really strange looking late 60's or early 70's cruiser. The boat did not have a standard pilothouse/cabin, but instead the bow was twice as high as on a normal cruiser and large windows went all the way to the bow. The boats were a two tone blue and really strange looking. It seems like the looked very narrow for the height and I also seem to remember that the logo/brand name was inside a life ring.

I would guess this was a 27/28ft boat. I remember seeing more than one in my lifetime so it was not a one-off boat.

I just cant seem to find the right terms to find one on google.

Thanks

Crap, they're here! Someone here has a resto thread on one (not much of a thread though as I recall), but I can't remember the darn name either!! Hopefully someone has a better memory than me. I do know what you're talking about though.

Strange looking but I am thinking of a bit bigger boat. Maybe I will try my hand at MSpaint and describe it better.

Ok, dont laugh too hard. The red line is a profile of a "normal" cruiser. On this boat the roof of the cabin extended all the way to the end point of the bow with windows all the way to the end.

Very tall and narrow. I seem to remember it was supposed to be trailerable and offshore capable.

Ok, someobody on another board says there is one around Atlanta in a boatyard. He is gonna try to get pics or details.

If you ever saw one of these, you wouldnt forget. :D

That's cool! It looks like it makes very good use of deck and cabin space.
