Hello all...<br /><br />I need an answer fast...<br /><br />I am about to buy a 1994 Rinker 236 Captiva with a 7.4l Merc w/ bravo 1 drive. I am going to have it surveyed but when I go tomorrow I would like to find out what year the motor is. The last time I looked at it, the motor looked newer then the boat. So is there an easy way to find the production year?? Is it the last 2 digits of the serial number?? The motor has side thru-hull exhaust. Bravo one drive, four blade s.s. prop. I mean for a 23 footer she has to be fast. I think she is rated at 385hp. So could anyone please let me know. <br /><br /> <br /><br />Thanks in advance.
