Hey guys!
Just ran into lower unit issues. The forward gear is pretty well worn (too worn for dremel tool reworking) and the pinion gear has a little life left but should be replaced as well. Any ideas as to where I can find these gears? I'm not finding any immediate results online--or at least on the sites I've been searching.
The motor is a 1996 Force 40hp.
Thanks a bunch for your responses. EVEN A REBUILT LOWER UNIT OR STRONG USED ONE would be an option but I need a reliable source to obtain something like this.
I'm really trying to get my boat ready for my girlfriend who will be returning home after battling through a bout with a serious illness. All help is GREATLY appreciated!!
