help needed 1984 gamefisher 7.5

ya i am new to outboards so how do i remove the lower unit on a 84 gamefisher 7.5? i disconnected the shift linkage ,drained the fluid, removed the bolt that's in the exhaust outlet and loosened the nut in the front as much as i could and thats where i am stuck the back separates a little when i push down on it but the front wont budge. is there some way to disconnect drive shaft that i dont see? thanks for all your help guys.

It sounds like you have disconnected everything, good chance the drive shaft is stuck in the crank, best way to deal with this is turn the outboard upside down and spry PB blaster or Kroil in there through the exhaust relief holes trying to hit the drive shaft so it will run down to the crank splins....could take a few days on its head and sevarl treatments, then some soft tapping with a dead blow hammer should do it, be careful not to pound on the cavitation fins, I have done this on lots of old outboards, its about the only way home.
