I'm trying to replace the exhaust bellows on my Alpha 1 and am having a ****ens of a time getting it on. I put in on the transom side, but because of the limited room, cannot get my hands in there good enough to streach it to the outdrive. Does anybody have any tricks that would help?

Thanks

Thanks, that would be great if I had the drive unit off :D which I really don't want to do(ordered the tool though against possible future need). I guess what I'm looking for are hints on how to get the dang thing in place without having to take anything apart. My finger tips and knuckles would greatly appreciate them. :p

Wingnut,I have never actually put one on but I have had my hands in there many times and I really dont think you can get it on properly without doing the whole job.Unless of course you have a 7 year old for a mechanic. His hands would fit.Hopefull you find a way!!! Charlie
