Ok. I have read about all the other topics on here about no spark. I have checked the kill switch by the manuals and it checks out fine. I have bought a new stator and power pack and timing base. Still no spark. I have even bought another power pack thinking that I got a bad one. What could this be. I want to fish. It is on a 1982 evinrude 75 hp.

So, you have a nee ignition and still no spark. Did you ever open the blk/yel wire at power pack terminal and check for spark? That os the first step

Booba1399, looking at your engine's ignition system, you already replaced everything that could possibly cause it not to fire other then the spark plugs themselves AND the spark plug coils. I take it all the parts were new or working....right? And the keyway in the flywheel is good and not missing or sheared. Have you verified the spark coils, and made sure the grounds are clean and all good? :noidea:

You can try a test. Disconnect the big red plug inside the cowling. Put a set of automotive jumper cables direct onto the starter-from a known strong battery. This should crank the engine. (has to crank at at least 250 rpm's. See if you get any spark. If you do, then the problem is with the control box and it's cable. If you still have no spark, then the problem is with the ignition components inside the cowling.

After you do rhe red.plug check mentioned above consider this

Did you use oem replacememts? I cant begin to count how many times after market parts came with either the wires in the wrong holes on the connectors or bad out of the box

Just for grins, check the flywheel magnets (dangle a small screwdriver in front of them).

Ok took the red plug apart and still no spark. I ordered a dvm for my volt meter to read peak voltage. It will be here next week. I just want to go fishing. Lol Thought if I replaced every thing it would work.
