HeLp On A 115 H.P. Mercury

ok I have just bought a boat and the motor but from what i understand is the motor has a short or something and it keeps draining the batt. The manufacture # is 32113169 year is a 69 and it is a 115 H.P. It has not ran for sometime now. I am looking for ideas as to what this problem may be and maybe to get a service manuel for this machine. anyone help????
