Looking at a 2004 crownline 225 br with the volvo 5.7gi and dp. The boat has 200 hours on it and has the captains call which i like. The boat is very nice and we will use it for cruising and tubing with the family. What is a fair price is this a good motor, and are these good boats. Thanks in advance

Where are you? What you are going to find is that the Boat Market is as regional as it gets, and therefore the market is different these boats in excellent condition can fetch top dollar and I'm talking from $30k to $20k depending on the Condition and then the trim and power train. The 225 you are looking at has the mid-bottom level motor rated at 280 hp, not that the GI is a slouch just that Crownline would let you build the boat the way you wanted to depending on your wants and "needs". You will find the Crownline brand to be one of the leading boat manufacturers in Quality Fit and Finish.

All of this means nothing if the boat has not had proper care and maintenance though so if you do look into this boat be prepared to dig into it thoroughly.
