I am looking for a camper trailer To go up north Next week but it has to have a patio door, and I have to have the door panels removable

Reason being I need to fit 2 quads inside, I have no other way of transporting everything at once. I need a camper and we need the quads, I'm not making a 500 mile round trip twice. I do not have a camper yet But found a few nice ones I am willing to purchase and bastardise

Is there a normal door that's 4 ft wide? Are campers easy to modify or is doing the door swap a major sructural change? What about the internals n

I'm looking at a 1990 award tandem not sure of length

Or, can I hook up my utility trailer to the back of a camper trailer? Swivels and it's long but it would get me there

They do make a toy hauler travel trailer, the back opens up ramps come down and you load up.

And when everythings unloaded you drop the bed down.

Forget the patio door. Travel trailers are built lite. patio doors not. Besides the patio door jambs are too thick to work in the trailer wall.

Pretty sure the flexing of the trailer would not be good for the glass either.......

A toy hauler trailer is the way to go. You could put a reciever hitch on the back of a travel trailer and tow your quads in theory, but you will run into toungue weight and frame strength issues to address. Have fun.

I found 5ft wide barn doors, brand new for $422. how about that on the back or the side?
i figure put it right by the axles, or somewhere on the side. maybe enfore the opening with some metal or 2x4s
