Help please, coil under flywheel wires where do the go?

I pulled the fly wheel on my 1999 9.9 Yamaha there are two coils under the flywheel one coil has a brown and a blue wire coming off of it and and plugs wright into the blue and brown female clips no problem , However the other coil has 2 green wires coming from it and I see no place to plug these male tipped green wires into, or even what there suppose to be for? please help I really need the motor prior to this coming Sunday thanks.

The green wires are from the lighting coil. They would go to a rectifier regular if one was installed. To charge a battery.

just wondering, this motor is a manual pull start tiller, why would they install this coil on this motor? thanks

In case someone wants to later add a rectifier.

Or, just for ease of construction when they are making an electric start that comes with a rectifier installed.

Some yams are made for easy installation of options and some are not.

Big yams have wiring installed for ease of installation of optional pressure sensors or for data to be fed to optional gauges.
