Help Please. Mecury Outboard

Hello Everyone,<br /><br />I just bought a 1971 Glastron V153 Futura. The boat is a mess and I need all the help I can. No.1 the Mercontrol has all the wires cut inside. The cables that control the throtle are also disconected and I have no idea where they go. If anyone has the wire schemaitcs please email me with them. Now as to the engine. I have a Mercury 650 65HP outboard engine. It was taken apart when I got the boat. I did notice that the wires to the distributor are corroded and broken off. H E L P ME.

I'll second the manual, it's the only way. The cut wires hook up to the same colored wires on the wiring harness. The cables are pretty straight forward, but will need some tuning, you'll find this in the manual as well. Been there, done it before, but nearly wore the manual out doing it.... Best of luck.
