UGH Hey all, this is my very first post on here wish i didnt have too but do not know anywhere else to turn right now. I am in desperate need of a trailering bracket for a 89 Force 50hp the engine does have power trim/tilt but can not seem to find this part any where. My delima is that I am leaving on thursday to upstate ny for a fishing trip and as you can see the clock is ticking. Any ideas? Serial#016115 Model#50789c
Thanks in advance

Re: Help Please!!

Thanks but I tried them already, only have them for the 85hp no 50...Im pulling my hair out, ive called 4-5 marinas in nj and hopefully will figure something out. LOL it sucks, my friend dropped the original one in the lake 15-20ft down so luckly i had a steel hammer in my truck stuck that in between to hold the motor up and ran a transom strap across the motor to keep it from bouncing freely works good but its kind of ghetto rigged so you see my concers. Thanks for the help though.

Take measurments on thickness of bar and draw a picture with lengths and turn radiuses. You remember what it looked like, right. Go to a weld shop and tell them your dilemma, if there any fishermen at the shop they might take care of it. Or if you have access to a welder , or a freind that works some where with the equipment , have them make one up. Good Luck On You Fishing Trip

... sorry to hear that. ya keep those things away from the water once removed. they are like hens teeth to find. if you have a BassPro or Cabelas near by, they have adjustable steel pole transom savers that mount from trailer to skeg. it might get ya rolling on your trip for now.
