I've found a steal of a deal on a prop and need to know if it will work for my boat. I posted about this the other day but this deal just came up and I need to let the guy know today whether or not I will buy it. The prop he is selling is a 13x19. I will be putting it on a 1982 ranger bass boat 18' with a 1973 Evinrude 135 hp. When I do the Overton prop finder it recommends 13.25 in the 19 pitch for the regular michigan match but says a 13x19 will work if I get the michigan vortex 3 large area. If I buy this 13x19 will it fit and function properly? How much difference will that 1/4 or 1/2 inch make?

Thanks!!!

Re: Help! Prop compatibility.

First of all what are you running now and what are the rpms at WOT? Next, the prop in question, is it the proper hub size for a V4 gearcase? A 13x19 could be also be smaller hubbed prop used on some 55, 60, 70 hp models. What make and part number?

Re: Help! Prop compatibility.

Thanks for getting back to me Jimmbo. This motor is new to me but I think its about 5000 WOT. The part number stamped on the bottom looked like it said 390896. Its a 13 spline.
