I recently picked up a 1970 Larson tri Hull with 1979 Johnson V4 85hp motor on it. Trim/Tilt was not going up or down though motor was running. I noticed some oil around seal and replaced o rings and wiper in the tilt/trim reservoir and re-filled it..lowered motor down and tightened hydraulic screw..it worked and I lowerd the motor all the way down. Tried it a few minutes later and it does not move. Trim rods are both partially up..I loosened hydraulic screw and got the motor back up hoping to somehow clear the lines..no success. Any idea on what I am dealing with here???
