Help - replacement Rim

Hi .. I am not in US, but have a Karavan boat trailer.

Today for some reason wheel nuts came loose, damaging rim ... the rim was moving back & forth has damaged stud .. one has sheared off.

I need to find a US source for a new rim, 5 studs & 5 wheel nuts ...

I could go to Karavan ... but can you recommend any on-line dealer that sells rims/studs/nuts

I am coming over to US in a weeks time for work, (Miami) my intent is to take a rim back with me.
So need to locate a supplier ASAP.


The original rims were replaced by MAXUM as part of free swap program due to under capacity issues.
(originally had 14" rims) .... current tire is ST205/75R15

Maxum recall notice advised assembly was ST205/75R15 LRD 545


I'm not sure if the 'RD 454' part describes the rim.

Can you recommend a place to get a rim?

That is a very standard wheel. When you get to the Miami area the multitude of marine dealers, tire dealers, and department stores that sell boating supplies will have them. If you get out in the country, look for what we call "Farm Stores". These places take on various names like Fleet Farm, Farm & Fleet, etc. The are general merchandise retailers but their recreational product costs are far less expensive than at marine dealers. You might also want to purchase a replacement Hub & Bearing set for this trailer. These are relatively inexpensive here. It consists of a new hub, with wheel studs, bearings are packed and installed and ready to go on the trailer. Get them at the same place you find the wheel.

Thought it may help if I took a picture of the wheel, shows the rim type I need to buy:

I also sketched out relevant sizes .... tires are ST 225/ 75 R15

If anyone can point me to somewhere in Miami I could get one of these - or a good value on-line dealer be grateful.

Very standard "galvanized" wheel. Should have no problem finding one - especially in any coastal city.

You can try Summit Racing.com or Jegs.com They can ship to your door the next day usually. Than you wont have to carry one back with you. I have the same rims but in chrome, and they are only 45 bucks a piece.

As mentioned - that is VERY common here - every boat dealer in that area should have them IN STOCK, just hit which ever one is closest to the hotel.

In that area even walmart, lowes home depot etc cary them with the tire already mounted - not sure about bare rims though - but that does give a few more options.

Guys .... HELP again.

Karavan are unable to sell me replacement studs (even though they list them as spares) they advise they don't know which of 4 hub types they used.

I have drawn out the stud .... where would I go to get these .... either in person in Miami, or preferably in advance on-line and have them delivered waiting for me.

The studs are 1/2" - 20 UNF overall length 2"

On the non threaded end it has the " S109 IME " stamped in the metal.

The hubs they are fitted to are manufactured by UFP
