So I tried to remove trim sensor on my Volvo SX drive. Both nuts sheered off. Now I saw in the forum someone said to use heat to get it out.

How much and how to apply to get it unstuck?

Seems like I can't use a torch since bolts in the painted outdrive. Have already doused with PB Blaster. I can see lots of corrosion around the bolts. Please, someone got any ideas?

Alongs those lines, can "anti-seize lubricant" be used on SS bolts in aluminum housing? I heard suggestions for grease but seems grease would eventually wash away. Thank you.

You must be in salt water.
DO NOT use anti sieze on SS bolts in aluminum. In the marine buisness, that is called EVER SIEZE.
I use Permatex aviation gasket sealer and bolts come out years later.
Now, on to your problem. If they are already twisted off, grind them flush, then redrill and tap new holes next to them. I do that on Merc and Volvo.
