I have a 1984 Mariner 200 hp. The motor seem like it's not getting enough feul. The motor jerks alot at WOT, but sometime when I'm lucky it'll plane normally at over 55+ mph. I was thinking about using GUMOUT spray Carb cleaner to clen it out tomorrow and not tear down the carb. Dose anyone recommend something else. Thanks

Well, if you keep pushing it like that, you'll soon have a piston or 2 like the attached picture.

When it's jerking at WOT, it's probably starving for fuel. The problem could be anywhere, but don't run it like that. Find the problem.

Don't waste precious time with trying to fix it with a can. Do a search on the site, and systematically troubleshoot the problem.

hope it helps
John
