hey guys I just rebuilt my accelerator pump on my 1999 Merc 115. In the repair manual it says that there should be a 0.76 millimeter or point 0.030 inch gap between the top of the pump body and the cam that depresses the plunger. the smallest measuring device I have is in millimeters and I can't really get it up next to the cam where I need it to be. this gap is supposed to be very small from what I can gather less than one millimeter what I did was loosen the bolts until the cam was touching the top of the pump housing with the plunger all the way depressed I then lowered it what I estimated to be 0.76 millimeters. I have included a picture as well as a picture of the poor quality photo that is included in my repair manual. Can anyone let me know if I am on the right track here? Also if I am off either too high or too low what might be the repercussions of this? I just want to know if I am taking any risks with the motor by not having this adjusted properly or if I can determine if I need to adjust it further by the way it is running. Thanks in advance Guys you are the best
