I have a 76 evinrude with no fire coming out of spark plugs. I held them wile someone pulls it. Still no spark. I also put it up to block, no spark. Checked the points, all look good. Coil packs,I just bought them. So idk what the problem is. But the little round things next to points are real big like they fixen to bust.so that might have something to do with it. It looks like an capacitor well like a little one. I might get an tune up kit for the points and other stuff under there. But if yall have any pointers that will be help full. Checked the compression it was 120.

Those round things are called condensers. Technically, they are "capacitors", but they have been called condensers for 100 years, and nobody dares to change. Anyhow---if they are swelled up and about to pop, that is extremely unusual, to say the least. They certainly must be shorted and need replacing. Most no-spark problems with those are due to breaker points not making good contact. I suggest you buy a tune-up kit here at iboats. It contains new points and condensers.
