Help with battery selection.

Hello. I recently bought a minn kota Endura c2. I know nothing about batteries, but im shopping around for a cheaper deep cycle. Ive look at the wal mart everstarts and the Nautilus. I have a sears near me too. What brand would you recommend. I will be using for trolling. I also need to know what size i should buy. Thank you.

walmart battery is fine. they all have a warranty anywhere you buy one....But IMO interstate makes a good battery, but they're expensive

Is there a major difference between the 27dc-850n and the 24dc-700n? Or is it basically the bigger will last longer?

Batteries are like buckets of electricity so yes -- the bigger the bucket (capacity) the longer the motor run time. You also need to charge that battery immediately after each use. Do not wait until just before you head out to charge the battery. That's a good way to kill it.
