Help,,, with Boyesen Reeds

I have a 92 yamaha 115, 2 stoke, jet .. trying to get a little more power
I hear talk about new reeds , is this right or a line of bull
will I have more power with these boyesen reeds ??? do I need to rejet carbs too ,,,

I'd check some jetski boards for that answer.. I put Boyesen hi perf reeds on my 1050 Polaris and it did increase low end torque with no need to change anything else. I sw no increase in fuel efficiency ,,, but c'mon its a hi perf jetski. Not sure why youd need more torque unless your waterskiing...

This is a 18/56 jon boat with a jet 115 motor , not a jetski....
