Help with Chrysler Stator

I have a 1973 Chrysler 70 model 707HF. I have gone through a few regulators in the last couple of years and I wonder if this red and black stator thing applies to my motor? I did finally figure out not to run trolling motor on starting battery as that took out one regulator. I would like the higher current charging if possible I guess.

The red stator implementation...only applies to Mercury/Mariner/Force engines.<br /><br />You have a standard Chrysler stator..there were no updates.<br /><br />As for your regulator. Make sure you have clean tight connections on the battery.<br /><br />TMD
