Help With Chrysler!!!!!

I have an older Chrysler outboard 45hp that I can't even get to turn over. I know the starter is good. I hooked it right to the battery and it turned over fine but I can't use the key or get it to start anyother way. I replaced the starter soilinoid but I don't know if I have it hooked up right or not. This is my first boat and it was free from a family member and I know it runs but it has been awhile. Any help from anybody would be great!!! Thanks!!!

you need to find out if your start wire is getting hot if it is it should click, the big cables are usually bi

Two things come to mind: LanLine and fuse.<br />My 150 has a fuse inside the engine. If the fuse is blown the engine will NOT CRANK. I'm not sure about the LandLine. I think it will crank if it is off, but not start.<br /><br />kz
