Need some help repairing this dent in my 1988 tracker. It occurred after a day running Lake Erie, which wasn't even that rough. I popped out but it continues to revert back to dented when running 2 footers... I can hear the hull pop in/pop out when running waves too which is stressful.

I am thinking of popping out and filling with foam just on the front end. The foam in there currently is separated from the aluminum so id like to remove some foam and re-foam the front hull to prevent it from continuously denting. Does anyone have recommendations on foam to use for this? Not sure if pour foam will work as I can't isolate the front hull area. I am looking for something that will be structurally sound up front.

Thanks, JT

pour in foam is your choice

however from the inside, I would pop it out, then with a big deadblow hammer, dent it outward a bit to stretch the metal in the outward direction prior to foaming.

Everybody works to different standards.----I would pop it back to normal.------Drill out rivets.----Every 1 of 4 or so.----Add a piece of aluminum angle fitted inside the hull.----Install new rivets to hold it all in place.-----Yes perhaps a lot of fine work and fitting.-----Just one way I would do it.
