Help with ideas reversing boat

I have 18 ft ski boat with volvo penta sx and the problem I am facing is that on my side of my backyard fence I have a gate that opens up to street to reverse a trailer. The only thing is that my backyard is sloping up some what so when I'm on the flat street reversing my boat into the backyard, the bottom of my volvo drive gets so close that it touches the ground before I make it in because I'm having to drive up a little hill to make it in the gate. I had to get two 2x12 boards and lay them under the tires going up this little hill just to get the boat in. I do not want to keep having this problem but want to storage the boat in my backyard. Damn volvo for making the drives so close to the ground when its fully up!!! Any ideas....
My brother suggested propping the back of boat up so the drive never gets close to ground but that seems like to much work of first jacking up back of boat and some how propping up until I make it my backyard.

Can you lower the ball on the hitch and gain a couple of inches? Something like these:

Ayuh,.... Volvo didn't do it,.... Maybe the hull manufacturer, or the wagon manufacturer,....

1 Fix would be to raise the Wagon on it's axle,...

Another would be to raise the Hull, on the wagon,...

Another solution would be to fix the grade problem with your back yard.

If all it took was a couple of 2x12's to solve the issue, regrading the area in question would be the most logical and inexpensive solution.

Move the boat forward on the trailer,lower the ball,dig out where the outdrive passes put the dirt where the tires go.
Put a couple of people on the hitch or tow vehicle to lower the hitch.
Perhaps just lower the bow roller,Instead of raising the whole boat maybe lower the front and raise the stern.
The 2 X 12s seem like a pretty easy solution.

Put a 3 ton boom lift in your back yard, and lift the rig up the incline and over the fence.

Or dig a channel into the back yard, and float it in. :facepalm:

Ya, id go with a lowered 'goose neck' type of ball hitch, or perhaps taller tires/springs/shackles on the trailer?
