Help with identifying engine manual

I have a carb 4.3 Mercruiser.
Ser ... 0W617149

Commission date in log book 1s Dec 2006.

On the 'sticky' I am confused over what engine I have and what manual is correct.
In the index it shows Manual #25 is for 4.3 L & 4.3 H for 1998 onwards.
(what is difference between L & H?)

But when I go to link for manual #25 it states "Service Manual #25 GM V6 1998 - 2001" mine is 2006.

There is no manual listed that I can see for 4.3 after 2001 ?

Basically, manual 25 is what you use for your engine, and most jobs (including ignition). For the cooling and exhaust systems, you need manual #37, for the carb you need manual 41 for the TKS system.
