I have just received the pump kit for a 1984 50 HP Merc 3 cyl and the impeller seems to be a little too large for the housing. Is there anything I should know about impellers??
Hi, Dano.<br /><br />The leaves of your impeller need to be curled when installed in the pump housing.<br /><br />Just rotate it clockwise as you fit it into the housing.<br /><br />Good luck.
