Got a good one here. Really all we need is a chart that shows the size (mm or inch) of the jets. And that shows what jet to use at a specific elevation.

We have an old Johnson 25hp that originally ran at sea level and now running at 3000'.
The jet we pulled out is marked with a 72. Since we have had no luck finding any replacements, we were able to make new jets.
We just need to know how much to drill out.
We need to verify what size is a 72??? (mm/in).

Any ideas out there?????

you may find it here "http://www.evinrude.com/en-US/Accessories/Literature/" it seems like the factory jets were good to 5000 ft.'

thanks F R......we had the measurement of .072", so you just verified that.

Stated above, the factory jet is good to 5000'. But what is the factory jet.?
We just don't know how much smaller to go........068, 060, etc.
I guess we can start drilling and slowly work our way down.
