Help with my pitch

I'm buying a new motor and need help with what pitch i should get. I have a 16' blufin deep-V. standard alumunum 3 seats. I'm looking at a 20hp but need to figure out the pitch. I'm looking at eather 9.2"Dia x 9.8"pitch or 9.2"x8.4 pitch. HELP!!!!

Please read the stickies at the top of the page,also the helps at the top of the iboats prop store page.We need more defined info.
brand of motor 4 stroke or 2 stroke,approximate weight of boat.Typical load.gear ratio.If its new surely the dealer can suggest a prop.To be sure you have selected the right prop you should have a tach and a speedo or gps.A tinytach is reasonable ,easy to install.Hopefully some one has a setup thats similar otherwise I would start with the 8.4 if its not enough pitch it may over rev but you can still use it by backing off the thrrottle.You can get a base line and select the right prop based on the max rpm and speed.Keep the 8.4 as a spare.
