Ummmm -- all we know is you have a mini pontoon. It might be good to know what kind of furniture you have and even better would be a picture of the rig.

What size is "mini"? I'm assuming 16'. I'd place 2 in the front of the base of the bench, and make up boxes for the inside of the front fence, side fence, or front corners for the other 2. Get a marine grade stereo and speakers. They will last longer.

check out the stuff they have here, some good speakers. Jeep Man is right, those are the best places to place them

get a decent stereo, many of the marine units now have USB ports as well as Ipod ports. good thing about the USB port is that if you have a portable GPS, many can be run off a USB and allow you to save your AA batteries, as well as charging your cell phone. and of course, getting one with a removable face is always a good idea.

Any of the smaller water resistant speakers can be mounted in the curve at each corner behind the fence. The two in back can be mounted in the seat base. Do not mount them under the front seats. The wires would get all twisted up as people spin the chairs.

Re: help with speakers

I would check ebay first. Marine speakers are practically given away this time of year. I just bought a new deck, amp speakers and a woofers for about 200 dollars off a few different auctions. I would definately mount them in the seat box. Just jigsaw out a couple holes and screw them in. A couple things to make sure you do.
1.) Turn the speakers so the wire connections are on the top end. This way if water pools up under your seat your connections will stay dry.
2.) Make sure your deck has a drain plug under the seat to keep water off your speakers. If you do that and get marine they should last a long time. Most marine products are coated with epoxy to keep them from shorting out.
