help with the NADA Model # on 175 Mercury

looking value of a Black Max 175 Mercury, NADA asks for Model #, I don't know what it is. How do I find it?

mjw,<br /> There are only 2 models for an '86 175 Black Max.One has a L(long shaft) designation in the model number,the other an XL(xtra-long shaft).The L is a 25" shaft,XL is 30".There should be a plate on the transom bracket that shows info.
