Help with which manual to buy

Sorry but searches have not yet given me the true information I need.

Have an 84 model boat w/ a 120 hp Mercruiser 4 cyl. Though I am confused that the outdrive shows it to be a 3.0L and I thought that a 120 was a 2.5L. Regardless, it appears that the Mercuiser manuals are numbered 1,2,6, etc. Which is the correct "number" for this engine and outdrive. Am anxious to get a FACTORY Manual but would rather get a used one as opposed to ordering one from my favorite local Mercruiser dealer.
What about Parts manuals?
As always any and all information is greatly appreciated and highly valued.

You need to post up the engine serial # to get the correct response.....
This I can tell you:
#1&2 are old for your engine, but would be useful.......
#6 would be the one for your drive & is available as a free download on line....
The one for your engine is # 3 ......​

Thanks for your reply. Would have thanked you sooner but been out of town. Will, I am sure, be asking more questions as I get on the road to rebuilding the boat (floor and interior) and getting the engine/outdrive up to spec.
