I just bought a used palm beach pontoon boat, 20' w/ a 40hp johnson 4-stroke motor (2003) and have never had a 4 stroke before.what kind of oil mixes with the gas for running? If you know a website with free owners manuel that i can print i would appreciate it verry much to let me know. thanks alot for the help.

No mix with a 4 stoke motor. Just like a car engine, there is cranckcase oil that needs to be change as needed.

Can't speak for your motor but Some Johnson 4 strokes are Suzukis

If it is a Johnson and it is actually a four stroke, then it is a Suzuki manufactured engine with Johnson colors and markings. four stroke engines must have oil and filter changes just like your car. But you do not mix oil with the fuel. You check the dipstick at each outing to make sure there is sufficient oil in the crankcase.
