I took my boat to the shop at which time all of the instrument was working. The engine was bogging down. They replaced both switch boxes. Now when I am on the lake the boat runs really good but an alarm sounds when going on lake. I have checked the oil system and temperature sensor but the alarm still sounds when I give it gas. I bled the air out of the oil line and went down the lake and noticed the fuel gauge wasn't working but the tach was working. The boat ran well with no alarm sound. I stopped the boat, took the engine cover off and felt for the temperature and it was good. I started back toward the landing and the fuel guage started working but the tach stopped working and the alarm started again. Can anyone help with this problem

Re: help

A few things spring to mind, but without knowing what engine it would be pure crystal ball stuff, post the serial number too.

Exactly what buzzer sound are you getting? Read the owners guide (now there's a novel concept ), it tells you what the various sounds mean.

Very first thing I'd do is take it back to the shop and have them sort out the problems they introduced.

Re: help

Howdy, jtr.

Welcome to iboats. :)

"help" is probably the worst possible topic title for getting real help.

Read this: http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=250877

I suspect you have an I/O, not an outboard.

Either way, identify your engine. If it is an I/O I will move this thread for you.
