I have a 1973 Evinrude 50 hp model # 50732R. I replaced the neutral safety switch and the ignition key switch, as it was worn. The motor will not turn over or even engage, I turn the key and nothing I checked the 20 amp fuse and it was blown. I replaced the fuse, turned the key and nothing, checked the fuse again and it was blown again. It is very possible that I wired the ignition switch incorrectly. Can someone provide the correct sequence of the wiring so I can check if it is correct. Any other suggestions would be grateful.
