Does anyone know how to hook the West Marine VHF 600 radio to the Standard Horizon cp1000c chart plotter?

1) Do you have the manuals? 2) Have you tried calling WM or SH and see if their CS department can help you? 3) Have you done a google search on down-loadable manuals if you don't have them?

Yes I have the manual for the S H but not the VHF. I have tried going to uniden who made the radio but they don't list it on there web site.

Welcome to iboats!

The manual for my Uniden Solara says the green wire in the accessory cable connects to the GPS data in and the brown to the GPS ground. In the GPS setup menu, set the following parameters:
Baud rate: 4800
Data bits: 8
Parity: none
Stop bits: 1
RMC, GLL, GGA, GNS, and ZDA Command: used by radio for UTC time, lattitude, and longitude

Perhaps your radio is set up the same way.
