I have a 1990 v150 mrcury blackmax serial# 06293001... it wont idle.. I bought boat 1 month ago and was having hard time idle when hot. Now its gotten a little worst. If I keep tjroattle ip to 1000 rpms its fine but as soon as I drop to neutral it drops down to 700 rpms and dies out. Sometimes it idles but most time it dies.. im worried about stator bevause it seems to have a very very slow charging after restarts. My fish finder says 11.9v-12v.. but it doesnt go up and down during higher rpms. It just maintans there at 1000 rpms it runs fine. Ssometimes a little sputter or rev up when throttled at 1000 rpms. It runs awesome at wot. Does this all sound like carb or stator? Just changed plugs and same thing. Tried spraying seagoam in varb but still the same..
