I just got this boat from my aunt. My uncle passed away recently and I inherited his old boat. I want to fix it up back to new basically. I have no knowledge of boats and I'm looking to find out what year it is due to having trouble with finding paperwork. I would also like to know how much I might be looking at spending. I'm from Lincoln Nebraska so if you know of a good shop to take it to get it all done at once I would appreciate the help. Any advice would be grealgr appreciated. This boat will serve as a tribute to my uncle.

Things I know is:
Force 120 motor
StarCraft 1709
that's it lol it's rough but it's worth it to me.

See if the Aunt can get a duplicate copy of the paperwork, if the originals cannot be found.

How much $$$ to fix up depends on what the boat needs to be good as new. Maybe you should start by going through the boat to see what works, what's broken and what looks like it is falling apart. Make a list.

Big things are if the floor is solid or has some soft spots, cracks in the hull, rotted wood. Then there is the engine to go through.

Most likely all you need to provide DMV is that registration number on the side. Its like the license plate for the boat. They'll be able to tell you year, make, model, everything just like when a tag is ran. it will even tell you the HIN if you can't find it.

Do you know what year it is? Take more pics of the rear, front and interior of the boat and we can give a LOT better advice.
