Well, so much for a decent summer!<br /><br />Forest fires all around me again.<br />I couldn't even get to the lake most of last summer cause you couldn't see across it for one, and you had to dodge the water-copters for two.<br /><br />Oh well. <br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />H.

Forest fires are very uncommon here on Vancouver Island but we also had a fairly big one not far from us recently. Scary stuff but fascinating as well... they used water bombers that were picking up water from the ocean where we were boating that day. Arg!!! No camera on board again!
