Herring!!!

The herring have been coming up the coast!!!<br />Gannets are diving into the schools and picking up a meal within a hundred yards from the shoreline!!!<br /><br />Stripers are starting to arrive!!! The small ones arrive first,the5-10pounders and the big fish should be here by mothers day!!!<br /><br />Around here mothers day is called "Striper Day!!!"

My first striper outing will be 6/19 at the Isles of Shoales out of Rye harbor on the Tauntine. Hopefully those 50+ inch cows will be in the mood to swallow some mackerel, I can't wait
