That's odd... I allways asumed it was an automatic feature of the software (when enabled), and was set at 1000. Oh well, they had a backup glitch here, about a month back. Perhaps it got turned-off?
Anyway, I'll third that motion
Hi, Mates.

The "title" is designated by Admin5. I can't do it. It is not automatic.

I certainly agree that our shipmates deserve it by my understanding of Admin5's standard: Major contributions to the success of the Bulletin Boards.

He is out of town 'til Monday.

Stand by.
If specific number of posts is not the only criteria for Admiral status on iboats I move that Joe Reeves be promoted as well based on the sheer quality and obvious knowledge of his problem solving skills.
i think captain status is gained at 20 post the admiral is gained when Admin or steve :-D says so!! so in other words if you have 100 post and every one of you post is 10 pararaphs long has over 10 pictures and ansewers every question the person asked.... you could be one
I did a quick survey and I think all of the Admirals have over 2,000 posts.

I may be wrong, check it out.

Either way, it is up to Admin5.

There is no question that all of the above nominated people are leaders among the members and always positive contributors.

Of course, one has to be a very special contributor to be Dock Boy.
I don't want to be an admiral when its my time....I would rather be a "monk"

If steve has his way I'll just keep starten over at 428.

Yall three all get my vote....but I agree with JB....I think its 2000.

My keyboard will have a bunch of letter-less nubs on it by 2000....If I have'nt already typed my way through to the desk.

Captianwood.
