Why in the world did you leave that beautiful frontier up there for loony California?!?!<br /><br />If I had to choose between Alaska and California - I have to say Alaska would win --- and I've never been to California!!!<br /><br />(No offence you Californians )

It was not a choice. I am Active Duty USAF and Alaska is considered an overseas assignment. I spent as long as I could, 8 yrs 8 months there. Then they made me leave. I should be back up there around Dec '06 though!!!! <br />With a retirement check every month to boot....woooohoooo.<br /><br />AK Chappy

While I have been here, I have gone through some changes. I think the sun here is much brighter and stronger, it bleached my hair.<br /><br />Here check out what I mean.<br /><br />
