I think I'd leave the by-pass right where it Is........<br />Push All of the by-passed water thru the manifold, then from your New fitting on the back of the manifold, to the Hot-side of the H/E....<br />No Tees.....<br />Even Before the T-stat Opens, the manifold needs Whatever flow is going by..... Most T-stats don't open all at once.... And, If you Tee it, How would It know which way,+ When to go Where.....<br /><br />I am thinking of "teeing-in" the thermostat bypass to the manifold so there is some flow through the manifold prior to the thermo opening. Or can i ignore the bypass?
